Figure out what kind of product or service you want to offer online.  Then, focus focus focus on that one product or service until it is profiting smoothly for you.  When you focus you succeed.  When you try to do too many things at once you end up spreading yourself so thin that nothing gets done effectively.  Therefore, focus.  The kind of product or service you should offer on your website is something that you enjoy producing; something that has high enough demand that does not have too much competition.  When people work at things they enjoy, it does not feel like work to them and they seem to have energy to work and work and work all day everyday.  With that kind of energy and motivation a person is bound to succeed at what he does.
