Online marketing advice can be online marketing tools. Online marketing tools can be online marketing methods. The methods can be tools, the tools can be methods, the advice can be methods and so on and so forth.

 

Here's a list with some online marketing best practices. Check it out!

  1. If you want to establish a successful website fast, offer a product or service that you enjoy producing, something with high enough demand and not too much competition. Then (as you focus focus focus to improve the presentation of your product or service) choose to either market your website yourself or have someone market your website for you.  Think about it.  When you work at something that you enjoy, do you not work harder and longer at it?  Do you not feel higher sense of fulfillment from working at it and even while working at it?  Don't you feel more alive and excited, feeling as though you could work at your project all day everyday because you so much enjoy what it is that you are working at?   The average person answers yes to those questions.  Now consider applying that much energy, hard work, enthusiasm, excitement, fulfillment and so much more to a website product or service that has high enough demand and does not have too much competition.  What do you think is likely to happen?  The person who applies that kind of approach to a website product or service is very likely to establish a successful website fast.  It can be hard work to establish a successful website.  So, if you want to establish a successful website, make it easier for yourself by offering a product or service that you enjoy producing, something with high enough demand and not too much competition.  When working at something that you enjoy doing, hard work is fun and fun is always easy even when working hard.  Do what you love, love what you do and you will succeed!!

Remember, before you invest in any kind of marketing, online or offline, make sure they (whoever you are dealing with) give you solid proof that they will give you what you pay for.  There are so many online marketing scams out there that you really need to be careful that you don't get ripped off.  Check out the scams category of our website for more information about how to avoid online marketing scams.

Easy -- It's actually very easy to establish a successful website when you offer a product or service that you enjoy producing, something that has high enough demand that does not have too much competition.  With that approach, even if you know nothing about online marketing you can still establish a successful website fairly easy and fast.  Because, with that approach, if you constantly improve your product or service, people will begin to hear about your product or service and begin to use it.  Once they begin to use your product or service and you keep improving it, the more they will use it, the more they will recommend it to others and the more you improve it the more they will like it and use it and recommend it.  And soon enough, your product or service will be used and appreciated by many.  So, do what you love, love what you do and you will succeed.

There are many effective tools and methods available to promote websites effectively.  However, remember, if you want to establish a successful website fast, offer a product or service that you enjoy producing, something that has high enough demand that does not have too much competition.  If you do that, you will continually be highly motivated to work as hard as you have to in order to have website success!  With that kind of motivation you will succeed – guaranteed!

Local Marketing Firms -- One of the best ways to gain your target customers is to contact several marketing firms (the more the better) within your local area.  Tell them you need low cost effective online marketing for a website product or service that you offer.  And, get their prices.  Then, compare prices and go with the firm that offers the best service at the most affordable cost to you.  Then (if you can) find out and keep track of all the tools and methods they use to help you gain your target customers.  By keeping track of the marketing tools and methods they use, you will be gradually building up your list of online marketing tools and methods that are right for you and your business.  With this approach you can eventually do most or all of your online marketing yourself, without the help of online marketing firms.

  7. Family and Friends -- It's not always a good idea to have family and friends involved with your business.  However, sometimes it's a good idea to do so.  For example, if you offer a product or service that may appeal to some of your family and/or friends, introduce them to it.  Yet, your product or service may not appeal directly to any of your family or friends, but, if your family and/or friends are willing and able to help you promote your product or service, get as much help from them as you can.  One family or friend could tell another and another tell another and so on and so forth and soon enough you gain may customers through family and friends.

  8. Part-time or Full-time Regular Job -- You have heard the saying "it takes money to make money".  Well, to an extent it's true.  To make money you have to pay the bills.  To pay the bills, you must have make money.  Until you are able to effectively pay all of your bills with income from your online business, you should keep a part-time or full-time regular job.  In doing so, you can effectively pay all of your bills as you build your online business.  Some will make it seem as though it's a bad idea to have a "regular" job.  Our advice to you is, do what works for you.  If you can effectively pay all of your bills without a regular job while simultaneously building an online business, do so.  However, if while trying to build an online business you find that you need immediate extra income, find and/or keep a regular job.  When your online business is making enough money for you to effectively pay all of your bills without a regular job, quit your regular job with the quickness!!

  9. Free or Paid Traffic -- "As an Internet Marketer there are literally hundreds of ways to bring traffic to your site, however every internet entrepreneur must decide for themselves whether they are going to focus in and become an expert at paid traffic or free traffic.  There are many pros and cons to both. Focus -- Don't try to master every online marketing tool and/or method that you find.  There are too many for you to try to master them all.  Instead, choose one or two online marketing tool or method that you like best -- one or two that has the potential to accomplish your online marketing goals.  Then, focus focus focus until you master the specific online marketing tool or method that you have chosen.  In the process of learning to effectively apply the one or two tools or methods that you have chosen, you will almost automatically develop skills in other areas of online marketing.  Do what you can when you can.  But, don't try to do too much at once.  Trying to do too much at once is almost always counter-productive.

Relentless -- Relentless marketers are successful marketers.  Think about it, people who are relentless at what they do, oftentimes they succeed.  And when they succeed they succeed big.  So it is with online marketing.  You really don't need to know much about online marketing to be highly successful within 1 or 2 years in online marketing.  For example, if you start out today (knowing little or nothing about online marketing) and apply yourself relentlessly working hard, talking to people, reading books, researching the internet and doing whatever else you can do to gain knowledge and experience about online marketing, it is very likely that within 1 or 2 years you will be a master online marketer.

Trial and Error -- Online marketing can be very time consuming to determine what works and what does not work.  Therefore, sometimes you just have to go with your "gut feeling" your "instinct" a "hunch" in order to move your online marketing efforts ahead.  With "trial and error" if something can work it probably will work if you try.  However, because something can work does not always mean that it will work even when you try very hard to make it work.  So, in regards to online marketing -- for "trial and error" to work, use your "common sense" to estimate your chances of success.  Then, if you see that an online marketing idea could work for you, give it a try, it just might work.
